Á Rauðum Sandi by Yija
(Lyrics in English)
With toes buried in red sand,
The sun and sweetness of the land
Happy ewes, people singing
The mountains whispering, the sea refreshing
Running in the red sand,
in the wind, a good spirit is turning
Dancing, jumping, babbling, and whistling
And all smiling
Under the bare sky
We are sleeping under the bare sky
We sit here on the red sand
Wonderland, so attractive
Flags waving, the sun, it’s dazzling,
The flowers are blooming, nature is dreaming
Nature is dreaming
Under the bare sky
Under the bare sky
Under the bare sky
Under the bare sky
(in the green grass)
Under the bare sky
(walking in a dream)
Under the bare sky
Under the bare sky
We’re sleeping under the bare sky
(ah / oh)
Walking in a dream
With a smile on our lips
We’re sleeping
We’re sleeping
