FINLAND | DRAMATURGY
A masterclass on the role of a dramaturg, and tips for arranging texts and exploring narratives - an insight into just why dramaturgy is a super power.
Led by dramaturg and playwright Elina Kilkku.
Elina Kilkku is a Finnish dramaturg, playwright, theatre director and author based in Helsinki. She works as a freelancer and has directed and written (or worked as a dramaturg in) dozens of plays around Finland over the last twenty years. She has published six novels and a non-fiction book about historical theatrical genres. She also holds workshops in writing, directing, theatrical genres and bad theatre. The aim of the workshop of bad theatre is to have fun and to see what happens, if we act, write and direct without fear of failure.
